Nico Angel – School Director
Master Guitar Teacher

Nico Angel is a third generation Director of the Arlington School of Music for 20 years and has been associated with the school for over 40 years. He teaches beginning and advanced guitar. Nico Angel developed a unique teaching program for students. He video tapes the students' lessons. Each student can then take the video tape home and use it as a study aid.
Nico has toured and performed extensively around the world. Here is just a taste of his extensive background:

- Performed and toured internationally and appeared with artists such as:
- Paco de Lucia (Spain's greatest flamenco guitarist)
- Pascual Olivera
- Angela del Moral (Classical Spanish Dance Ballet for 20 years)
- Enrique Morente (One of Spain's greatest flamenco singers)
- Appeared at Chicago's Orchestra Hall
- Appeared at Chicago's Lyric Opera House
- Performed for the Illinois Public Schools through the Urban Gateways, Illinois Art's Council
- Performed for Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs
- Appeared on television, television commercials, and radio
Nico occasionally performs at La Tasca Spanish Tapas Restaurant in Arlington Heights and with the Los Flamencos Spanish Dance Ballet.
